With the Hockey season right around the corner, I am proud to Announce that the Long Island Blues are making preparations to deliver our 6th season of Hockey that will include practices, tournaments and special events. The first practice will take place on October 3rd from 5:45-7pm in Port Washington. We will be sending out registration forms and other info by mail in the next couple of weeks and you can submit everything at our first practice or feel free to mail all forms with check to our Plainview address. Remember that you can always check the website at www.longislandblues.org for all info and a monthly schedule.
Before our first skate, all players need to be registered with USA Hockey. All Long Island Blues players are required to register online before they will be allowed to practice. This needs to be done before our October 3rd skate. The process is very easy and will only take a few minutes of your time. The USA Hockey fee for all players is approximately $33.00 so you will need a credit card to complete the process. Log on to the USA Hockey website at www.usahockey.com and click on the box that says “register online” that can be found at the right hand side of the page. At the end of the registration process you will need to print out the confirmation page that includes a bar code that we will be scanning to build our roster with USA Hockey. You need to bring this confirmation page to us on October 3rd.
